Temple of Debod and the Prado

Posted on

After we got off of the bus from Toledo we rushed to the Temple of Debold. An ancient Egyptian temple that was gifted to Spain from Egypt in the 1960’s it was nice to see an Los Egyptian Temple without going to Egypt.

We then raced across town to get to the Prado. We went in and hit the major masterpieces. Most of Spanish art is done during the renaissance and of religious events or Spanish royalty. Not the most intriguing things to look at.

Then dinner at our favorite spot. Museum of Ham! Another pitcher of Sangria for me! I am not loosing any weight on this trip. I think I’m drinking 4000 calories a day! The kids each picked a dessert on the way out, to go. 1.80€ vs 3.90€ for to go vs eat in. If you can stand all day then you can eat for cheap. If you want to sit you have to pay a premium. When your hot, tired, and your feet hurt your blind to the costs!
