14 of July a Holiday

Posted on

On the 14 of July everyone is Paris watches the Parade then camps out for a spot to watch the fireworks.

We decided to make the day an actual holiday and do nothing. The kids watched the Disney Channel in English. And we slept all day. It was a much needed break. Not even the thought of fireworks around the Eiffel Tower was motivation to get us going. We were in need of some R&R.

Around 8:00 pm we got dressed and walked down the street for Fondu and hot stone cooking. It was all you can eat and it was perfect. I chatted with the owner and his friends while the kids got the best gelato on the trip so far. The also scoop it to make a rose on the cone. It was a nice holiday from our holiday.
