I feel like I have lost days of my life that I can never get back. We left the House October 31 at 9:00 pm for the airport. Steve dropped me off at the curb at SFO. My flight departed at 1:00 am. Seated next to a very grumpy woman dressed as a nun for Halloween I settled into my cheap economy seat. Trying so hard to sleep but never getting comfortable enough to get any real sleep for the 15 hour flight. I did manage to watch 2 movies I hadn’t seen yet.
We then landed in Hong Kong where we had to get off for an hour and switch gates. I purchased 2 Starbucks mugs that came with 2 drinks. Double fisted frappuchinos!!
I now had a 4 hour flight to Singapore. Next to the same, now drunk “nun”. She was a whole lot happier and a ton of fun. We chatted and had a lot of drinks on this flight.
I then switched planes needing to take a shuttle bus to a different terminal to catch my next flight. I then went to purchase another country Starbucks mug before boarding my 2 and a half hour flight to Bangkok.
I used my Thai passport to enter Thailand in order to avoid standing in the extremely long immigration line. Zipping right through the kiosk. I walked right out and met my dad. Who drove me to his house. Where we had dinner and relaxed. I was extremely jet lagged and fell asleep at 7:00 pm only to wake bright eyed and busy tailed at 11:00 pm. I finally fell asleep around 3:00 am only to wake up at 4:00 am. Leaving for the airport at 5:00 am to catch my 10:30 am flight to Yangon, Burma. We left early to avoid traffic and my dad didn’t want to miss too much of the final game of the World Series.
I am now at the airport getting a one hour message for $15 while I wait for my flight. Best part of Thailand is the amazing massages.
